Tbh scaling has diminishing returns especially when it comes to 4u maths. Getting a 92-93 vs 98-100 reported for your HSC mark will barely make a dent in your ATAR, but the raw marks required jump from like high 70s/low 80s to 97-100 (high effort for a marginal reward).

“Internals” are informed by external marks anyway (i.e. they aren’t your raw school marks) so it wouldn’t really make a big difference anyway.

If you haven't already, apply for early entry for law at other universities such as WSU, MQ, or ND. It is much better in your case (if you are serious about studying law) to get a law early offer from one of these universities than aim for a non law one at UTS.

Note that Victorian adjustment points work a little bit differently to NSW ones. They adjust *proportionally* to the ATAR (which is much fairer IMO). 5 bonus points would shift an 80-83, 95-96.3, 99-99.45 so it’s unlikely that you’ll scoop enough at la trobe.
