Re: UNSW chit chat thread 2017 On the other hand though at least for exams, getting the 891 to stop outside the racecourse is a much easier task though.

For in-class tests, both MATH1081 and MATH1131 are generally quite easy to score at least 80-85% (these are the tests before the final). But once you go into the final then that's a different story. Many people who score very well before final can end up doing badly in the final.

I hear even maths teachers have difficulty in finding work as maths teachers in Sydney. But rural iirc has much better opportunities.

From what I know, the majority of selective students in the Sydney area would choose UNSW as their uni. Case in point, 50-60% of SBHS students moved to UNSW in the past 5-6 years. Most of them are Asian, so yeah, there you go. :P Anyway the campus is at least 60-70% Asian, and also 10%...

No difference in difficulty but if you take it in first year first semester be prepared to work your ass off for this course.

yeah GG, then again I was warned that they mark harshly and just like the way that your class tests were marked. So generally people will end up getting worse in it than better.
