I suppose this also 'uses the modulus', but it is essentially backdooring glittergal's solution.
\\ \frac{a+bi}{c+di} = i(bc-ad) $ and $ \frac{c+di}{a+bi} = i(ad-bc) $ which in laymans terms means that $a+ib$ and $c+id$ represent all perpendicular unit vectors...
