dropping out, coming back to do the hsc in 2013 - subject selection?
HSC IS hard, but remember you have teachers to help you learn your stuff. Also, try forming a study group or getting a tutor. Hang in there.

Have you read your texts for english?
+1 I struggled with English, but ultimately it was worth it as without a decent English mark my ATAR would've been significantly lower.

ACER does scaling with the marks, and that's why scores for individual sections can be greater than 100.

Question about subject in High School
Definitely consider getting a tutor to help you if things get too hard. Side note: I think Chem is a prerequisite for Monash Uni.
