The UTS Tower.. What exactly is in it?

I'm interested to know what the UTS Tower withholds. Is it offices or are there learning areas..? I saw that you need a pass to get anywhere in the lifts that go up there, so who is allowed?

Can I create a timetable yet?

Quick question, for Medical Science students we need to wait for On-Campus enrolment day to do our timetable right because I wasn't given the choice in the steps to do it as it cut out on Step 5 after booking an on campus enrolment session and finished? Just want to make sure I didn't do...

    Start-Up Scholarship 2014!!!???

No, not until the proposed changes are passed by the Senate. So for the $1000 or so dollars you can get in Semester 1 will be given to you without having to be repaid BUT the loan repayment thing might come into effect in Semester 2 therefore if you opt to use the loan you will have to pay back...

What's the reason for On-Campus Enrolement?

So why is it that all science students need to go on campus to enrol and do their timetables? Just interested as to why they do this instead of doing it online.

    UWS or UTS Insearch?

As for UWS Engineering you do not need to even think about your major that much because all 1st year engineering units are the same if I just looked correctly.. Judging from the posts on this forum and others about UWS Engineering, I'd say all you need to do is put in some effort to get some...

    Does HECS cover textbook costs?

I thought this was no longer available from 1st January? Isn't it now a small loan where you also pay it back with HECS? EDIT: Never mind, the change hasn't passed the senate so it is still available for students starting in the 2014 Autumn semester...

    Regarding Third Round Offers

Most definetley. Just follow the major for Medical Science/Biomedical Science or Biotech Science which all have the same 1st yr units.

    Regarding Third Round Offers

Yeah haha. All you need to make sure about is you do the units that would replicate what you would do in the Bachelor of Biomed/Med/Biotech Science. eg. If you want to transfer you would need to take the following units in 1st year. You will understand this when creating your units and...

    Regarding Third Round Offers

Basically I think with flexible, You can choose to major in Med or Biomed or Biotech science as stated here http://www.handbook.uts.edu.au/courses/c10242.html. I'm prity sure as long as you follow the course handbook for 1st yr units and do well, you may be able to transfer into 2nd year...

    Regarding Third Round Offers

It won't hurt to have a go for your 1st preference because if you don't make that they will automatically consider you for the 2nd preference.

    Youth Allowance

I put 10000 since I thought immediate meant first year, but I don't think it matters too much.

    Which Uni's accept 1yr GPA + UMAT?

Hey guys, I'm wondering which Uni's don't look at your ATAR after having done 1yr tertiary studies and UMAT for medicine. In other words only look at GPA and UMAT. Thanks!
