    To all Med Hopefuls

Can confirm that this isn't true. It's not about demand, they only take .95ers full stop.

    haha see ya there brah
  4. B

5 years bonded vs 7 years unbonded

I kind of have to disagree there, firstly as someone who has done first year science (just like you'd have to do it at uq for premed) firstly, its not completely irrelevant. You can choose your units from a range of anatomy/physiology in order to prepare yourself for med. Secondly, even though...

    Uadel med/dent offers

im pretty sure they favour SA applicants over interstate, i remember reading something about that

5 years bonded vs 7 years unbonded

I'd go UQ unbonded. I read a guide about selecting between medschools and the first point was choose unbonded over bonded whenever you can. The 5.0 GPA is a breeze. I did nothing in first year and have a gpa of 5.4 lol. Also, call up jmp tomorrow to see what your chances are of being upgraded to...

    2015 UAC med offers

oo thats tough. I'd probs go Uq unbonded if i were you though. You can chill for 3 years before medschool but you'd be moving interstate which is hard-ish.

Anyone receive an offer for Griffith med?

i'd say interstate unbonded. Unbonded over bonded anyday.
  10. B

    Uadel med/dent offers

don't underestimate the power of interview haha
  11. B

Anyone receive an offer for Griffith med?

yea they're not full fee but i used the term 'csp' as unbonded haha
  12. B

Anyone receive an offer for Griffith med?

No. They determine bonded/csp after the two years and the bottom 25% of the cohort are assigned a BMP spot hence why its ridiculously competitive because no one wants to get bonded.
  13. B

    JCU Med Offers

hang in there. Your offer might be upgraded to a non-bonded in the following rounds

Help!!! confused about my career possibilities

yea you can take gamsat infinite times. It really depends but a score of 65+ will give you some hope of getting in somewhere in aus
  15. B

Anyone receive an offer for Griffith med?

THIS. I have heard of people who have done a year at GU and are transferring back into nsw medschools as a non-standard because it's ridiculously competitive to be in the top 75% and get a CSP and not end up with a bonded. So take that into account when accepting your offer as well.

    Griffith Med (Provisional entry)???

    lol everyone passes that dw

    The Football Thread

Also, poor game to watch today. Oman didn't even try. It felt like I was watching australia demolish a super weak team with no defence. Good game by aus though
