    Need ideas!! Help!

I think Australia's treatment od refugee's will be done by ALOT of people considering the amount of media attention it will recieve. As a result typically everyone will have the same sort of speech which may make yours boring while is also more likely to be compared to others and recieve more...

studying for pre-lim when should i start?

HAVE A REST THERE IS NO NEED TO START STUDYING JUST YET! The official preliminary year does not start until January. Currently you may be doing little starting pieces of work as prep, but this is not the actual course. The preliminary course only officially goes for 3 terms. Many school's split...

    TYPES of Related Texts

Quite simply it does not matter which text type you do as long as it is done well. You are always best to do a text that is considered to be sophisticated however is not done by many people. That is because if you get a question that is hard the slight flaws in your essay will not show as they...

    boredofstudies people take there time

I highly doubt that they gave you another extra half hour as that is a massive advantange and lead to inequality in the state. That is a rather serious claim.

Recommended Texbooks/Study Guides for Preliminary HSC?

DO NOT PURCHASE ANY TEXTBOOKS UNLESS YOU HAVE DISCUSSED WITH YOUR TEACHER WHICH TOPICS YOU ARE DOING! Many books do not contain certain topics teachers do and therefore some textbooks may be useless to you. Also try and get guides that contain both the year 11 and 12 syllabus and not just the...

General Thoughts: Australian History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship

I'm not exactly sure how well you would have gone if you fail to understand how these are human rights issues! Trust me doing legal in the 09 HSC has definitely ensured that I know alot about human rights. The child sex trade is one of the most prominent human rights issues and is thoroughly...

General Thoughts: Australian History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship

It all depends on how well it was written. The main issuee you have talked about here is the issue of Australias treatment of refugees and it sounds like you have related it well to it being an issue. So it sounds great so far but what strategies did you use to solve this?

General Thoughts: Australian History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship

dont feel bad. There is nothing wrong with only doing one if you have done it in great depth!;)

General Thoughts: Australian History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship

IT IS NOT PATHETIC! It is still completely right. Reconciliation can still be considered and it is great you have talked about the UN and the declaration of human rights which many probably wouldnt have. The boat people (australias treatment of refugees) would probably be considered the best...

    Conflict and Cooperation

Okay well first I would draw up a plan. Listing your conflicts and how the law resolves them and encourages cooperation. Some conflicts you could talk about might be; conflict because of socioeconomic status or conflict over children and custody etc etc. You will also find alot more in a...

General Thoughts: Australian History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship

thats fine. This years questions were challening particularly the source one. I sat the sc in 07 and got a band 6. The questions however were ALOT easier. The markers will realise that this year and marks will most certainly go up. Good luck for when your results are released.x
