I'm thinking though cause it's first year of new syllabus the cut off will be pretty low regardless of the difficulty of the exam as it is new untested content, well at least I'm hoping it is :/

I think it’s definitely very content heavy which is why it may be perceived as the hardest, although I feel it’s not directly the hardest. For me what is most difficult is when module 7 is mixed with other modules to produce questions which are pretty challenging imo.

Not sure about the new syllabus, but when I did 2u last year I remember 2013 being the hardest paper from 2008-2019 purely because it had no scaling order i.e. hard questions randomly sprung up throughout the paper. Although considering many of the topics like geometry were taken out and you...

Do you think there are any questions in the BoS trials that could actually come up in hsc and are worth trying?

Is the exam structure still the same? Will it be like other years where there was 10 multiple choice and 6 questions consisting of 15 marks? Also will we be given seperate writing booklets or will it be like 2u where you write your answer in the allocated lines?

Yeah I agree, new syllabus is unclear to a certain degree and I've noticed many textbooks give different views of the syllabus in that some choose to teach a certain topic whereas others don't. So I'll most likely prioritise the past trial exams and any material I can find for the new syllabus...

Ah right that makes sense, i actually struggle with some of the older syllabus topics so ill be sure to focus on those. Thank you!

I did a few subjects last year as part of an accelerated course but they weren't new syllabus e.g. the 2u maths i did last year was still old topics

Now that trials is slowly approaching, I'm unsure of which resources to use in order to study for it. My school has absurdly hard trial papers and with limited resources available for the new syllabus, what should i be prioritising? I.e. should I be using HSC papers, trial papers or textbooks...

So it’s fine if I get N-awards for hospitality as long as it’s an extra 2 units?

I have extra units, one of them being hospitality. Id drop it but its fun with the boys so i was wondering since its an extra 2 units apart from the required 10, does it matter if I get N-awards for hospitality? Will it affect my overall hsc and atar at all if i get N-awards for the subject and...
