Why would they mark harsher for this year of all years... It’s a completely new syllabus, teachers and students were heavily unprepared for the exams. It just doesn’t make sense tbh

Eh Id be inclined to say around 78-80 perhaps? For sure this paper threw off a lot of people not just us so it would have to be low. But maybe someone who would know better such as @Drdusk would be able to give a better estimate.

I keep forgetting that everyone on this forum is a state ranker lol. I felt like that this exam was really difficult, a lot harder than anything in the excel books and previous years... like wtf even was multiple choice I think I got like 10/20 for it lmao. But I think I did okay on everything...

In terms of how her not sitting the exam affects the cohort, based on what my teacher has told me, I'm pretty sure they count her as an "outlier." Hence, she doesn't affect anyone else's mark nor the scaling of the class because they nullify her result.
