2013 HSC Paper Question 20 (SDD)

I really hope I don't take this long to solve a MCQ today in the exam though... I actually ended up deskchecking (not exactly, I drew a tree diagram for D & C...)

2013 HSC Paper Question 20 (SDD)

Oh yea I did this paper in class when we had finished the course early. I got it wrong at first I remember. So D loads 'a' into the accumulator. Because 'b' needs to be less than 'a', a - b needs to be positive. JUPN jumps if a - b is negative to 'else'. If a - b isn't negative then it just...

    Physics Exam Thoughts

First part, I talked about g-force and heat and how the safe angle is between 5.2-7.2 degrees and 10 degrees exceeds that. Um for radiation one I had no clue tbh. I wrote something about light and heat energy and having to reduce the heat on the spacecraft (ceramic plates?). I'm pretty positive...

    Physics Exam Thoughts

Oh. *fp* Now I feel stupid. That delta y would then have been like a quadratic, right? The equation I subbed into into made t=0 (v=u+at : I'm not stupid... I think exam stress got to me...) So I only ended up stopping at writing down the equation delta x = ux*t. (Except I kinda stupidly crossed...

    Physics Exam Thoughts

Same. Radiation question for space re-entry. The Magnetic flux one. And finding the range for that projectile tbh. (If you guys got that out, how'd you do it? I think the initial velocity was 10m/s and angle 60 degrees?) But I tried to write at least something down for each.

    Physics Exam Thoughts

Wasn't too bad. I only got stuck with 2 MCQs and a few short answers. I didn't go too well in my option topic though. Kinda wish I focused on it more during study.

    2018ers Chit-Chat Thread

So I just sat an HSC exam with a 14-year-old sitting it at the same time? Smart kid. How did he get so interested in maths so young? How can a year 8/9 kid complete an online Uni course with full marks? It's pretty cool though. Like he learns something in 14 years that took us 17/18 years...

How did you find/hear about us?

Stumbled across it for years during high school through Google search but when I stumbled across it this year I was looking for Physics Dot-point videos that might be available for free and there was an old thread where someone said they were thinking of creating a series of physics dot-point...

    2017 HSC Mathematics Paper thoughts

Looking at the solutions I think I should have revised proofs to do with parallel lines. Ratio of intercepts of parallel lines just didn't occur to me. And it's funny cuz during the exam I thought BD=DE but just didn't know how to prove it. But yea, hopefully you can score a mark for writing...

    2017 HSC Mathematics Paper thoughts

Easier than what I expected. How did people do the proof question at the end of 16? It was probably obvious but I ended up skipping the 3 mark cuz I couldn't wrap my head around it at the time (Part i. Prove that triangle ACE is isosceles) and doing the 2 mark (part ii). Maths Solutions...
