thankyou! i honestly believe in the philosophy of do what you LIKE and what your good at if i had taken others advice and done ecos/business/maths/science subjects i would have done rather badly my only "high scaling subjects" were hex and modern, and i hear they dont scale that well...

staff/quality ect ect is a question you should ask someone who goes there who would know alot more about it than me! but its all systems go from what i have heard. i geuss the major downside is that there is no campus, so the feelign of "uni" is apparently diminished. BUT i think its a great op! :)

i have also heard that UTS is quite a relaxed law atmoshphere and its really friendly, the tutes are good and that lectures are repeated at night (or alot of them are). Also, UTS has been really building up its law fac., a lot of money has gone into its improvement so thats a big pluss!

hey well i had my heart set on UTS, it looked amazing, the LPT combined in your degree is a huge bonus. i have some friends who do it that LOVE it, international studies is great but it differs from other uni's because it can only be combined, so what you are really doing is learning a language...

i didnt do any maths or science ancient modern ext history legal studies art advanced english. its possible.

i studied during the holidays, i made all my notes from term 4 and did some practice essays, and i went a little bit ahead and read my text books for the next unit and did a bit of light note taking. when it came to half yearlies, i was more prepared than others. if you can be bothered it is...

you really can do it, apart from a subject award in year 12 (modern), i have never won an award for academic achievement in my life!

i am faced with similar decisions. I have dreamed about UTS law all year, only to then resign myself to maybe scrapping into club mac, to finally deciding that international studies would do just fine. I know alot about the international studies/law at UTS and NOTHING at the other uni's, but...
