Oh really? So this years test was considered easy? I heard it was hard.

I thought a 90 would go to a 98-99 and a few others are telling me 90 goes to 97 like extension 1 so I just wanted to see what other people would say, not that I didnt have a clue what to expect.

For extension 2? Thats a bit high dont you reckon? I mean that seems about right for extension 1, not 2.

Raw marks database v3, and i meant if i get a 90 raw how much would that scale and align to?

Hey guys, I looked at the raw marks database but it only goes up to an aligned mark of 95 from 82. Can someone tell me what a raw mark of 90 in an average 4u exam would align and scale to (hope you know the difference between the 2 words lol) and how much would it take for a 99 final hsc exam mark?

Because even an 81 raw in 2010 aligned to a 95, now thats good news for an 84 this year :D

Well this was a harder than average paper to me

If a>0 that doesnt mean its soeed is increasing, it means the speed is moving towards the positive direction, and if v<0 then the particle will follow the direction of acceleration eventually, so it needs to slow down, stop, then speed up in the other direction, hence its speed decreases at that...

I'm estimating the same as your mark but you should admit it wasnt like other papers, defs one of the hardest there was, and if it was "ridiculously easy" then why can we see you estimating 98-100?

Acceleration is in the opposite direction of the speed, hence it will eventually turn the other way and go with the acceleration, so it needs to stop eventually to turn around, so it must slow down to be able to come to a halt, hence speed is decreasing and the answer is D
