Very pleased- questions were all standard for me. Only interesting bit was Mod B for Hamlet- about empathy. I just talked about the form of the soliloquies and how they enable the audience to view into Hamlet’s mind and deeply connect with his moral paralysis etc

Yeah I also wrote about how he rediscovers when he writes in the letters to his mother and father- I think this qualifies because it’s a rediscovery. But for majority of text no rediscovery

Overall reasonably hard actually I though Short answer was alright- very very strange layout Essay was meh the ideas in the question re rediscovery really didn’t suit our prescribed- Motorcycle Diaries Story was alright just had to rush slightly

Ironically I wouldn't call any HSC stuff studying. It's mostly memorisation and learning to regurgitate which would have the ancient philosophers turning in their graves.

Yes. Works on two levels- shows you have a better understanding of the concept and also inadvertently allows you to better adapt to the different stimuli

Diary entry would be pretty good. But the current trend from NESA seems like they are trying to make all exams more accessible and less rigorous. Mainly maths but English as well.
