What would you tell your first-year self?

What does the mathsoc get up to? I only have one maths subject (I'm doing med science) but I am keen on the maths!

What would you tell your first-year self?

I think most first years would love to be equipped with tips on how to approach uni. Whether you would change anything. Or just your tips in approaching uni life and maybe the balance between work and play.

    Uni ID and Concession Card.

You get it at a place called FM Assist and I believe it's open on Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm. During pre-semester (now), you can also get it on the lower ground of the Main library. I think you have to go on a weekday tbh.

    Swapping classes/labs - getting consent

Alright, I called the number and was referred to BSB office but they're closed I believe so I left my contact details. Maybe they will call me on Monday. I've also sent and email to them. Hmm I hope this works out because right now I have a lab from 6-9pm on Thurs and that Thurs starts at 9am...

    Swapping classes/labs - getting consent

I want to swap one of my BABS labs to a better time and I check myUNSW every day to see if new labs are opening up etc. And today they have opened more labs but it says "see school" on the side and when I select one of them, it says "consent required". Does anyone know where exactly I can get...

    Bus routes to/from central st./unsw

Ok the thread title is self-explanatory. I've tried researching 131500 but I want to know an insider's point of view. What are the best buses to catch at 8.30 (peak) or later during the day (non-peak) and back to Central? Thankya!

    Uni ID and Concession Card.

So this is what my sister told me..... The 2013 stamp thing (no sticker) is your concession proof. But you will get a sticker in 2014 showing that you can travel as a student with a concession card when it is renewed.

    Can't create a timetable

Mate I had the exact same error message. The one in red right? But for PsycA. I talked to the science faculty yesterday and it's possible that they are closing that specific classes in particular, reserving them for people taking degrees where that class is compulsory (so that they have a fair...

Having trouble when it comes to free electives...

Yep. This is true. I went to the science advising day today and a few classes are being "reserved" for students of exercise physiology. You have to either select another class and check whether you get that red writing error (clash, don't meet the criteria etc) or wait. But I would suggest you...
