really, the only impact school ranks have on your ATAR is probably your self-esteem/confidence levels. i know a few people who have moved to "higher end schools" and have kinda dropped off because of an unrealistic expectation that their new school will pull up their atar.

They might keep previous 15/15s from your school. Our school gave us a few full mark exemplars to look at in class.

She dropped maths because she isn't topping it and doesn't want it to count towards her ATAR, but she's learnt the 3U course at home to supplement her understanding of physics...
