    What to do

You are very lucky. Your Trials are most likely your last internal exam, so it would save a lot of stress and panic to begin studying for them now. Trust me, you do not want to get to 1 week before the exam and still not understand all of the concepts, details and intricacies that each subject...

whats a good raw mark for chemistry?

Depends on what you are aiming for. Most people would consider a band 6 to be a very good mark, which is about a 70-75 raw in the HSC exam. It's because markers tend to be very picky about your answers, and the room for error is quite high. Also, there tends to be a lot of application of the...

how much studying + homework should i be doing per night? pls help

As chairs noted, it's about your goals and your own abilities. If you are aiming for 99+, you want to be studying for several hours every single day which would include both studying for exams and doing homework. Some people don't require much study at all to achieve what others would require a...

    ATAR estimate plz

~80. You could push that up to a 90 with the Trials and HSC exams.

    Assignments + Exams.

When it comes to assignments, as the others have said, try to start them as soon as you can. You don't want to be stressed out by leaving them to the last minute. It's better to do it over time than to do all of it on the last day, because you'll have more time to find better ways to approach...

    UNIBALL JETSTREAM: 1.0mm vs 0.7mm

I think that a 1.0mm tip would be a bit too thick. The 0.7mm seems more comfortable and a lot easier to write with, which would be helpful for any exam. However, I would say that the pen choice doesn't really make a difference unless you've accustomed your grip to a particular style of pen. I...

How to cope with failing exams

It is not the end at all, especially at this point in time when you have the biggest internals of the year coming up - the Trials which are easily worth 30-50% of your final internal mark. A lot of people pull up their marks with this one exam despite having done poorly in many of their previous...

POST Half yearlies ATAR estimate, need some motivation

Pretty solid ranks mate, you should be set. Make sure to study up for your Trials as a lot of people pull up their marks at that point.

    90 or above possible ?? :(

You should try to bump up that English rank into the top 5-7. Also, try to bump 2U into the top 7-8 and 3U into the top 5 to increase your chances of getting 90. This is definitely possible with your Trial exams coming up, so study up!

How hard exactly is it to get a band 6 in Chem?

Like enigma said, it is doable. It is hard though. It just takes A LOT of rote, practice and dedication.

how to know your not getting an altar over 90

You can easily change these results with future assessments, mainly Trials and HSC exams, if you are aiming for 90+. Especially with that school rank. Just study up!
