Accept early offer? or wait for January Round?

Leave macquarie as your first preference, once you get the offer then (most likely first Dec offer round), accept that offer and then put USYD as your first preference (after getting rid of MQ in the preferences since you'd have been accepted then) and hopefully you get an offer from USYD in the...

    SRS

Are we eligible to get more than an offer for srs in one round( November round 1)? Or do they just offer us the highest eligible preference and ignore the others In one single round, you get offered your highest eligible preference whether that is your first or fourth preference. If you accept...

    UWS srs

For the srs, they give you an unconditional offer for that around the 16th Nov offer round and onwards through UAC as long as you have it in your preferences there. But even without the srs or scholarships of theirs, they are really generous with bonus points and admission anyway, wouldn't worry...

    USyd vs. UNSW

A bit biased coming from you but ye I think unsw is better anyway lmao, but if you do get 92-96, by all means, go for unsw, considering the $$$ from scholarship and it being the #1 engineering faculty in Aus

    Setting performance goals for HSC?

Yeah that's what I was referring to haha, should've made myself clearer. He won't have to worry about people dragging him down in his cohort (especially eng) as the chances are slim in a higher ranked school like his. But yeah it wouldn't make a difference if he's 1st in all his subs.

    Setting performance goals for HSC?

You're in a top 10 school, if you do get those results, you'll easily achieve/surpass mid 90's atar.

    Chemistry or Business Studies???

If you can do physics and mx1, choose chem. Higher chance of getting a higher atar with chem, and although you shouldn't choose subjects based on scaling, business is only gonna be in your favour if you get a really high raw mark. Judging from your subs, doesn't seem like you'll have too much...

    To 2017 graduates

Newcastle uni is still heaps good, doesn't really make much of a difference anyway. :)

    To 2017 graduates

UTS seems a bit of an ease for you judging from your atar est, why not UNSW? :confused2: UNSW's guaranteed entry of 92 wouldn't be a problem for you either.. or do you just prefer UTS?

    Roll Call: Class of 2018

I actually found year 12 PDHPE easier than year 11 lmao. Although has heavy content, it's pretty much a breeze. Good luck tho!

    Physics Exam Thoughts

I guarantee you, as long as you put in e=mc2 somewhere in the exam, yous will have nothing to worry about. :thrust:

    ATAR Estimate Please! :-)

Much stronger cohort last year than previous years tho wow, depends on how your year did this year. Could be that est or go up to 95-96 if you went well in the external exams.
