OK, so we had exams last term and these are my ranks for them; EAD: =1/61 EX1: =1/15 MHY: 1/13 CHM: 3/23 SOR1: 1/21 And I am still waiting on Economics :). Italian has an assessment in two weeks - there wasn't a half yearly exam.

That's a good combination, but I would say (and I am sure many others would also say) that she should do English (Advanced). Standard English is similar to Advanced, but how the subject scales and aligns is totally different. Standard sets you up for a lower ATAR from the get go, and it's...

What's the most enjoyable subject you do? :) For me, it is English Extension 1. I really enjoy the independence of the subject, and also the idea of a sustained piece of writing later on (to give us a taste of Extension 2 before we have to elect it, which I hope to do).

You need to do the Bachelor of Vet. Biology and Doctor of Vet. Medicine to be a clinical vet :)

Hopefully law and economics at UNSW, Adelaide or ANU :).

Y'know one thing I hate? Creative writing in exams. My English teachers hate it too, but BoS demands it. >_<

The question of whether we would take English if it were optional to elect was asked in my Advanced class. Interestingly, about half the class said they would not elect it, and this class was the 'top' class for our year (the cut off from year 10 English was 85). Shows how unpopular the subject...

In Economics, we are straight into it. We're already onto production possibility curves (if you call that being far ahead). Also, Italian by distance had a bit of admin and sorting to do - it is going to be fun ;)!
