So the 1st ranking student gets around 92?

someone thats 1st in a class of 12 students got the second highest external mark at around 70/100 and the person thats 5th in the class got the highest external mark of like 92/100 would the highest mark be given to the student that came first or do they both get the same high mark?

so like if i completely bombed out in one of my trial exams it wont affect my atar or external mark?

thankyou haha i really need it. do my trials make up 50% of my hsc mark?
