You're casual. You don't have to work it. And you are fully within your rights to say you can't. Sure, they'll be annoyed cause it's Christmas Eve. But that's your right as a casual. You'll have to make it clear you can't do it and will not be showing up, despite what they will try to tell you...

In all my years at Woolies, I have never served a customer that smelt so bad I actually felt like throwing up, but that just changed after tonight. Some people are absolutely fkn disgusting. So glad the CSM keeps an emergency bottle of Glen 20 in the service desk cupboard.

Oh awesome. Is this applicable to all states or are any excluded? Also just curious do you know what clause of the agreement this is under, or section even, and I can find it? I just want to have it handy if they try to do this to me, so I can show them in writing.

If i am rostered to a public holiday shift, I am contracted 4.00-9.00 on the day, but working 11.00-4.00 because our store trading hours are only 8.30-5.30 instead of the usually 8.00-10.00, can they ring me up on the day and cancel my shift if its too quiet? I know I'll still be getting paid...

There will always be shoplifting stories aye. We've recently banned a couple of people from shopping here for stealing a few hundred dollars of meat (who also had to pay back the cost of the goods, woot) but still finding empty expensive item packaging shoved into the back of shelves. What are...

What is this "Greeter Vest" for $44 on Total image group? Can I buy one and wear it for funsies? Or is it for those people who stand at the front entrance and welcome people into the store?

https://www.totalimagegrouponline.com/ Right there. Read a news article today that said Woolies have spent $1 billion on cutting grocery prices. Damn. How's everyone's current staffing situation? According to the roster, I'm supervising no operators whatsoever tonight for 3 hours after 6pm...

This. Whaaaaaat? So they're changing contracted Sunday shifts to other days? Theres a clause in the agreement where if they pull this shit with less than 7 days notice, you can negotiate for overtime pay. I'm waiting for the perfect opportunity when I'm desperately required and there is no...

I hope they do see it! speed6, are you here? Whoever is responsible for these decisions seems set on running the supermarket's division into the ground! I don't know about you guys, but what an absolutely ridiculous mess our store has become. I haven't enjoyed working there for months, but I...

According to the agreement, this is the amount of notice you have to give based on how long you've been working for Woolies: Less than 1 year - 1 week 1 year or more but less than 3 year - 2 weeks 3 years or more but less than 5 years - 3 weeks 5 years and over - 4 weeks A few people at my...

Wonder what that supervisor would think of the "Customer always being right policy" if the customer was screaming and saying that they deserved a $150 trolley of groceries for free... Well, they did say they were always right... right? There is this customer at my store that always expects to...

Is anyone able to help me? I need to print out a bunch of standard shelf tickets, but I do not want the price to be on there, just the description/ref number of the product to be on there. I've seen some tickets on the shelves (primarily in produce) like this... cheers
