Yeah, my group of friends are all really competitive at the moment and we have been since Year 7. But I know there are intelligent people who could do really well if they applied themselves.

Oh shush shush. It's happened now. So just use that to fuel the whirlwinds of study revolt. I totally bombed my first chem assessment. Now all I can think about is how much I want to beat the smug bastards in half yearlies. :D But serious, use it to your advantage.
