Difference between mediation and conciliation + one more bus question!

Mediation: follows if negotiation is unsuccessful. A neutral person (mediator) helps the parties to negotiate themselves to reach an agreement. Conciliation: it is similar to mediation except it is the Australian Industrial Relations Commission which acts as the mediator, being a much more...

Final Ranks, should I be as nervous as I am?

Ahkay, thought so just wasn't sure. Some subjects had the papers bought, such as my english papers, but I think the majority of the trials were set by head teachers at my school. Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing?

Final Ranks, should I be as nervous as I am?

Um...never heard the term used before, not my fault. I'm assuming it's whether the trials are set by the school or are bought from certain organisations, didn't want to answer it without knowing what it was so I asked. Sue me.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by CSSA/independent?

Final Ranks, should I be as nervous as I am?

Yeah my school isn't a high ranked school and it is quite small, (there was like 20 in advanced but alot of them dropped to standard) but hopefully I go well in the exams.

Final Ranks, should I be as nervous as I am?

I was actually doing quite bad, like ranking 10th after half yearly's, as science really isn't my strong point no idea why I'm doing biology, but I studied, alot, and ranked 2nd or 3rd after trials, behind by 2 marks. So yeah :)

Starting off with business - Ready?

It is true that you have to apply the syllabus to hypothetical situations, but generally the questions are direct syllabus references. So if you know the content very well, you can apply it to any question thrown at you. For example, the report questions always outline what you must talk about...

    No Doz before an exam?

No because all caffeine gives you a high, then a low...it will just blur your concentration :)

Starting off with business - Ready?

I summarised the Qantas case study in accordance with the syllabus so hopefully I can use that throughout the essay question :)

    Exam preparation

Bit of both. Study the night before so I can go to sleep feeling confident I know my work, usually around 10-11, then wake up 7am so I have a good hour to read over my notes and get into focus.

Starting off with business - Ready?

I don't feel ready! Last night it hit me that today was my last day of studying and I've studied more than I ever have for any other exam but still, I wish we had a bit more time. Tomorrow morning is going to be very surreal. Feeling anxious and nervous already :(

The Best Things About The HSC????

There are some perks! I use the "need to study" excuse all the time. Being a shy/awkward person like myself, being by yourself for a while just studying, relaxing and concentrating on what you need to do for a while isn't all too bad. I like the sound of the next 6 weeks, despite all the study...
