    Anki help

4U has mechanics. Mechanical engineering has, you guessed it, mechanics. So that's a +1 for 4U Chemistry is slightly related to mech eng as it relates to materials engineering (which you'll probably need to take a course or two in). However, it's not always the best idea to only ever focus on...

    Anki help

Literally just finished a tutoring session where I went over exactly this with my tutee. I will tell you the same thing I told him. It's too late - you needed to have been doing anki since day 1 basically. You will end up with a ridiculous amount of reviews if you convert your notes to anki...

    do i study

Do light study, maybe 1 or 2 hours max. Make sure to rest and get your strength back up - you'll only make it worse if you try push through it.

    pedigrees

Well it's definitely not C, because individuals II7, II3 could not have an unaffected child if the disease was recessive Thus it's either autosomal or sexlinked dominant. If it's autosomal dominant, then both II7 and II3 must be heterozygous for there to possibly be an unaffacted child...

HELPstuck on which degree to do

Also, your degree should be at the intersection of a) what your passion is b) what you are good at c) what the world needs d) what pays well. What satisfies all these points is unique to you, but the important thing is considerable all four of these criteria.

HELPstuck on which degree to do

As someone who goes to a uni which does semesters and has friends in UNSW - it's a massive pain in the ass. You can never do anything as your holidays don't overlap except in summer, if you're in trimesters you're in full work mode all the time, you cover less content in less time and so you...

HELPstuck on which degree to do

Keep in mind the shitshow that is trimesters at UNSW, and that other australian unis do not have that problem

    ANKI

    1. Everything, you should use anki every day. Make sure you google how to make good flashcards as mine sucked initially. 2. I used quizlet in y11/12, and have been using anki since the start of uni. I think my results speak for themselves - it is absolute god-tier for learning 3. Not many high...

How many hours and time should I pour in each subject?

Depends.. as much as it takes for you to internalise the concepts taught that week, and then some. No one can give you a precise answer - it entirely depends on your strengths and weaknesses. If you are strong at maths and writing, I don't think anything will cause you too much trouble.

    Too busy to read books?

To add to this: brave new world, 1984

Can someone identify the IUPAC name of this molecule?

Yeah, it's just methyl ethanoate. The H isn't bonded to the oxygen which is why I think you were confused
  12. D

    how does it work

Yeah I've heard this happens at some other schools

What textbooks for engineering are standard for all undergraduate and graduate students

Nws Define learn? Use an online course. After 6 months, you should be able to code a simple game

What textbooks for engineering are standard for all undergraduate and graduate students

The best way programming imo is learn Python -> Java -> C in that order. Don't try to learn programming by doing MATLAB or R. If you can handle the languages above, you can handle these - you just need to learn syntax which can be done quickly.

What textbooks for engineering are standard for all undergraduate and graduate students

Because python is accessible, easy to learn. Plus it has a lot of great libraries that support it. Sure C++ is faster, but it is much harder to code in.

What textbooks for engineering are standard for all undergraduate and graduate students

MATLAB is the industry standard for numerical calculations, but there is a slow shift in uni to python (mainly because MATLAB is expensive and python is free)

What textbooks for engineering are standard for all undergraduate and graduate students

Outside of programming, what would you say are the top 5 skills to learn for a mech engineer?

What textbooks for engineering are standard for all undergraduate and graduate students

You should, uni is far far more than just academics. You will regret not chilling, I promise you that
