    University 'Prestige' Rankings

Sandstone castle, yes. But have you been inside it? It's old and smells bad. A lot of the lecture theatres are also in bad shape. Carslaw and Chemistry lecture theatres are quite painful to sit in. But you're doing law, so you'll get to comfortably enjoy yourself in brand new facilities.

Which clubs and societies will you be joining?

Clubs? Societies? Are you even going to get an Access Card? (It's quite expensive...) I'm joining the Anime Society, ChocSoc, SUITS and probably the VSA. And.... probably a bunch of random ones during O-Week.

    civil engineering USYD

Maths is quite easy. However with Civil, you'll have to do Mechanics, Statics and Dynamics etc. which I have heard are very difficult. The person at info told me that he had failed Dynamics twice or something. That being said, it's not impossible to get HD. Just don't slack off.

    Computers, Computers, Computers!

You do not need any prior programming knowledge. Most people will be enrolled into INFO1103 - Introductory Programming (at USyd) where you will be taught from the ground up. Just attend your lectures and keep up to date. Oh, and ask a lot of questions.

    Bridging Courses

I have friends who did 2 unit maths and cruised through uni maths. First year maths is quite easy. Just use google and youtube.

Combined Law at USYD/UNSW W/ EAS points?

I got 97.20 last year and got a law offer from UNSW in the second round. I declined it lol. EDIT: Correction, I accepted it for no apparent reason and then I discontinued the next day.

    Engineering/Science UNSW vs USYD

UNSW has a tendency to beat USyd in the ACM International Collegiate Programming Competition in recent years. So I would have to admit that Software/Computer engineering must be better at UNSW... that or maybe their international asian students are just godly at coding.
