    Another HSC mark moderation question

I've never heard of trials being more than 30%? You'll love uni if 60-70% weighting final exams are your thing haha
  2. Q

    Another HSC mark moderation question

The moderation process is to ensure that school marks are a fair and accurate reflection of in school performance. If the moderation wasn't there, what's stopping a school from saying that everyone's a superstar and equal rank 1 with 100% averages?
  3. Q

    Another HSC mark moderation question

unlikely scenario but yh you can't be bumped up to first. afaik schools send weighted marks and ranks since the relative distances are used to moderate

PLS COMPLETE MY ANIME SURVEY FOR MY PIP PLS

Is it a google form? If it is, I'd turn off the "requires email address" bit so anyone who clicks on the link can do it. Otherwise you can make it a surveymonkey. If you want a few individual substantial responses I would set it up as an 'interview' methodology rather than a questionnaire.
  5. Q

PLS COMPLETE MY ANIME SURVEY FOR MY PIP PLS

I would suggest making the survey more accessible since it'll allow you to get a wider sample. It's already troubling enough trying to beg people to fill it out... having them to verify their email etc is just not gonna get the results you need.
  6. Q

    LinkedIn help

If only this were possible in today's market :(
  7. Q

    Another HSC mark moderation question

If you two are close together in marks, you'd get the same thing in most instances. In this simplified case below, where you are spread apart far internally, but come first externally, you would probably get a lower internal mark to reflect the relative differences between peers. Internal raw...
  8. Q

    Another HSC mark moderation question

well this happened for me in one of my subjects - we ended up with the same hsc mark once they averaged internal/external
  9. Q

Diagnostic Radiography Schools Selection Criteria (2021 Updated)

I’d say radiography reflects the supply demand forces a lot better than other degrees since there are a limited number of spots. So yeah mostly to do with the demand side of things (not many ppl willing to go to CSU in Wagga vs USyd). Also it’s selection rank, not ATAR - I doubt 99.95 is the...
  10. Q

    pronouns

But you just called them 'they'... Definition of they: used to refer to a person of unspecified gender "they" is the generic pronoun so I don't know what's offensive about it. Kitty identifies as kitty so you should refer to kitty as kitty.... They identify as kitty so you should refer to...
  11. Q

    pronouns

    furry feels very inappropriate imo
  12. Q

    pronouns

shouldn't 'they' cover that? I understand why he/she is not appropriate... but what's wrong with they?
  13. Q

    pronouns

Doesn't that just become a nickname and a noun? Pronouns are used in place of a noun or noun phrase. I understand why you wouldn't say "That is her drink bottle" but what's wrong with "that's their drink bottle"? "That's kitty's drink bottle" is just using a noun in a sentence?
  14. Q

    pronouns

Yeah of course using he/him she/her. I was referring to all else using things other than 'they', as they seems like it should cover catself and whatever (soz for the ambiguous wording)
  15. Q

    Israel Palestine conflict

one problem tho - 100 and 82 look the exact same now HSC I had grey (82) in degs, silver (100) in rads
  16. Q

    pronouns

Also emoji pronouns are a thing??
  17. Q

    pronouns

Yeah I meant what's wrong with calling people who refer to themselves as "kittyself" they? I would've thought they covers everything so it makes the 'kitty' redundant?
  18. Q

    Israel Palestine conflict

can we take a moment to appreciate how beautiful the new edition calculators are?
  19. Q

    pronouns

Just curious why the pronoun 'they' doesn't cover everything? Referring to people as 'kitty' is not a pronoun - it's just a name/nickname?
