    UNSW AAA Question

I obtained an ATAR of 96.70 and I was also nominated at my school for the AAA at UNSW. Now, on the letter, it says I am guaranteed an offer (except medicine) provided that my selection rank is within 5 points of the published cut-offs. Does this mean I can basically get into any course offered...

    Cheating

I was just reading through the link Rafy posted (http://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/exam-rule-breaches/maintaining-hsc-exam-integrity.html) and reading the "Reproduced Response" section: If I read some English textbooks and took various sections out of it but slightly reworded it, is that...

How understanding comes from identity in Skrzynecki??

I was just wondering, if in your essay you quote something and don't add slashes for quotes that go for over 2 lines (such as "My gentle father / Kept pace only with the Joneses" as opposed to "My gentle father kept pace only with the Joneses) would you lose marks?

    Belonging essay.

Within any belonging (or any other module essay's) should every single notion on the rubric be discussed? Also, how many examples and explanations per notion? I believe my essay in the trials was too short.

    Holy f**k umat

At the bottom of the admission ticket, it says to tick one of the following choices (passport, driver's licence, key pass/proof of age card/18+card, certified letter of identification) and there's a space to write down a 'number'.

    Assumed notations/abbreviations?

I was just wondering if letters like m(for gradient), a,r,d,n(various characters in series and sequences) and T(for term) are assumed. Do we have to explicitly state "Let T(n+1) be the (n+1)th term in the sequence)..."? Also, what about some properties such as the perpendicular gradient...

Q7 and Q8 in the HSC

I suppose what you say is true Drongski, but the satisfaction of attaining a great mark is what peeves me. The school I attend don't have a great cohort to 'fall back' on, hence I feel this stress to run the hard mile solo. This is why I'm doing my best to maintain my rank and then attempting to...

Q7 and Q8 in the HSC

I've been doing past papers recently and boy, do these last questions work up a sweat! I was wondering if there's some kind of textbook that compiles these much harder questions in the extension 2 paper with something like worked solutions? Does anyone have tips on answering these harder...

[Complex Numbers] Just need some confirmation.

Ahh right, thank you guys. I find geometry really iffy and I believe this is what I would have done in an exam situation. Thanks again.

[Complex Numbers] Just need some confirmation.

Question from 2003 HSC paper: Q2 (e) Suppose that the complex number z lies on the unit circle, and 0≤arg (z)≤pi/2. Prove that 2arg(z+1)=arg(z). In OABC: OA // BC (since BC is a translation of OA 1 unit to the right) AB // OC (since the segment between z and z+1 is parallel to the x-axis)...
