  6. Q

Do you need evidence in business studies?

I'm doing a a business studies assignment which you need case studies for and you have to talk about strategies used by the business in order to increase performance. Would you need statistics for every point you make like in economics or can you just say what is expected to happen because for...

  9. Q

    How many notebooks?

for math you will only need 1 book for the theory for mx1 and 2u, you could even combine them and still have enough room. you would need 1-2 books for exercises for mx1 depending on your writing size and set out, for 2u you might need 2-3. Also just keep all the theory in 1 book I reckon unless...

Dixon Workbook help in regards to a subsidy graph

I think they would get $10x50 as the government earns the extra $2 from the tariff, not the producer. The producer os still selling at $10
  11. Q

How to do well in business studies?

Yea, my teacher marks the HSC, the problem is I think he marks too easily, especially compared to another business studies teacher in the school, but I'm not too sure. But I think I will start doing that, thanks :)
  12. Q

Your method of studying for this subject?

I do the questions in Fitzpatrick, then HSC past papers, then trial pastpapers, especially the older ones because they are easy to find specific topics in.
  13. Q

How to do well in business studies?

For people who have completed the course or are doing it now, how do you do well in it and what are good ways to study for it? I really want(and also kind of need) to get a band 6 in the subject, so how much time per week should I spend on it and what should I do over the holidays as well...

  15. Q

How to cope with 3 Unit Maths?

na you shouldn't worry, just no how indices work and don't completely forget algebra and factorising. Concepts are fairly easy to grasp and almost all the content is new, although it may be a bit weird doing parametrics before/while learning calculus in 2u. The hardest prelim topic is...

WTF ARE THOSE SCHOOL PRICES $145000 p.a!!!!!!!!
  17. Q

Marks required for band 6 maths 2u

It really depends on how difficult your school exams are and how they are moderated. a raw mark of low 80's (like 83-84) will usually align to a 90 for the hsc exam which is a band 6and your internals will probably moderate up depending on how your cohort does. aim for mid 80's if you want to...

    HSC 2016 MX2 Marathon (archive)

Re: HSC 2016 4U Marathon So what happens when we don't know how to answer because we haven't learnt it at school yet, do we just wait for someone else to answer it?
  19. Q

    HSC 2016 MX2 Marathon (archive)

Re: HSC 2016 4U Marathon I'm not too sure how to do these ones but here is what I did. 1/z = 1/(x+iy) = (x-iy)/(x^2 +y^2) therefor if y does not equal zero it is a complex number, if y = 0 it is a real number if y = 0 then z is a real number therefor z must be real
  20. Q
