Subjects that are hard like 3/4unit maths tend to scale higher than easy subjects like hospitality. Also, most sciences>humanities in scaling, just a general rule of thumb. In the end scaling does matter, for e.g you get an overall mark of 91 in 4unit maths, they scale it up to 95 instead...

I highly recommend you do adv english, it has a much higher scaling than standard english.

+1 absolutely, it doesn't matter if you're doing a low scaling subject, you just have to do really well to overcome the scaling and get good marks
