They count the ten best units. (Always includes Standard English/Advanced English.) Therefore if your worst performance was Studies of Religion, then it would not be counted.

I think the Germany questions were difficult too. I think raw mark for Band 6 this year would be around 68%.

re: HSC Physics Marathon Archive The most a question would ask about this would probably be 3 marks, if it even appears at all. It would most likely give a scenario, then maybe ask to identify some energy transformations in it.
