Do you guys reckon 2u is gonna be as hard as 2013s paper?

I've leaked an exam question just a couple hours ago. Here's the first part of it. Question 12 a.) (i) "John throws two equally weighted coins upwards. He does this while doing a wheelie travelling with a velocity of 20 m/s on a bicycle and juggling two knives and a bottle each weighing 1 kg...

Which Past Paper/Practice Paper Should I Attempt?

You got it boss. I tend to stem away from the normal solution and into really weirdly complex solutions though, but I get to the answer.

Which Past Paper/Practice Paper Should I Attempt?

Well I was going to attempt one really hard paper, but I think what they suggested tests my knowledge widely, although not as challenging.

Which Past Paper/Practice Paper Should I Attempt?

Thanks for the suggestions, guys! Well, I guess it might be a little bit too late to attempt whole exams. I might do as much questions (Q15-Q16) as possible starting from past HSC 2013, then 2014, then 2012 backwards. How does that sound?

Which Past Paper/Practice Paper Should I Attempt?

What do you guys think are good practice papers to extensively test my knowledge for 2-unit?

Is Interest Included in the Exam?

If so, could someone tell me what the formulas involved in it are? I seem to have lost my book AND textbook.

I Have A Nasty Math Problem..

Well, the quadrilateral one was three marks. However it literally just says "Find the area of the quadrilateral OCEB", and the most efficient answer I realized was not even 5 lines of simple '1/2 x b x h'. (Compared to almost a whole page of integration.)

    HSC 2015 Maths Marathon (archive)

Re: HSC 2015 2U Marathon Is it the distance travelled one? Also, how do you write in that cool math font thing?

I Have A Nasty Math Problem..

Every single time I look at a question, I would think of a solution within a few seconds. That's not a problem if it was the most complicated solution to get to the answer. Like I would get a question that asks for the area of a quadrilateral on a graph, and we are given each point. I would...

    Biology exam thoughts

How many pages did people write for the 6, 7 and 8 markers? EDIT: I hear a lot of people writing like three pages. Like, how big is your hand-writing? I always never exceed a page for a question.

    Biology exam thoughts

Yeah I put a mark as well, lol. Although I might have passed the borders of "do not write here" a couple times and realized so I wrote the words again.

    Domain question

You can't log a negative value. But since no whole number that is doubled (-2x) can be bigger than the number being squared (x^2), then it must always be positive. If you put any number 0 <= x <= 1, there's a plus nine at the end anyway, so x can be all real.

    Biology exam thoughts

If you wrote your student number for the extra booklet I think you'll be fine.

    Biology exam thoughts

Don't worry about it I rushed it and I read "cell..." then my eyes went to "membrane" and my brain told me it was "cell membrane".

For that Ebola question I talked about: - Memory T-lymphocytes and memory B-lymphocytes have proliferated in the plasma of the original host, and are successful in fighting the disease. - By giving this plasma to a patient who shows early symptoms of Ebola, these memory lymphocytes are able to...
