Looking back, the people who had minimal social life during the HSC have minimal social life now IMO. Unless you suffer from anti-socialism or something like that, being social is a choice you make. I know people who may have done well in the HSC but have a basically non-existent social life...

There are late enrolment dates in February. Call them up or email your faculty, and they will assign a late enrolment date where you can do it in person.

A lack of sleep definitely is not good for you, but the temptation is there and most people do it despite the negative consequences. If at least for one year, choose sleep and good marks.

Firstly, don't stay in that mindset for the rest of the year otherwise your mindset, more than your marks, will affect you. Secondly, it's only the start of 2013, you have room to improve. Ask your teacher or tutor on where you went wrong, target/practise your weakness and seek to do better next...

At the Info Day, the professor for Arts (Advanced) (Honours) said that because the course is accelerated, chances are you won't get as high marks as in another course. Therefore if you're looking to transfer, do something else, get high marks to transfer.

Think of the end-term goal and the fact that it's only one year. It may seem like a long time, but just remember it gets easier after that/ Perhaps speak to someone about getting your motivation up. Take breaks, eat well, sleep well and if you feel completely unmotivated, do something you enjoy...

Complex numbers is considered the 'easiest'. Brace yourself for mechanics :S I had no effing idea what that was about. Luckily, not that much mechanics in the 2012 HSC :) You may consider integration a bit easier, and perhaps even Harder 3U purely because you don't have to learn any new skills...

You need to stand out because the law field is so competitive. Doing well at MACQ may seem appealing, but to employers, they would understand the difference in standards and so I would really recommend doing an Arts degree at USYD.
