This. Most people at my school found it fairly difficult as well. Including some of the Extension 2 students (though they do have higher expectations of themselves...skipping 1 question = hard exam). Also whats with all the hate to Q5....imo Q4 was harder than 5.

Yeah I did the 08 paper and got mid 70's....i must say...I am very pissed off with my silly mistakes yesterday -.- . Lost more marks in Q 1, 2, 3, 4 then I did in 5 6 7. fml.

So I 'm not the only one who feels like a retard for screwing up that question. Those marks will scale high, last years E4 cut off for 3U was..56? and for 4U, well a 96 will go, easily mid-high 90's

This. Most of the marks I will lose will be for silly mistakes...particularly in questions 1 to 4. Sitting down at home though, without the stress, well, I feel like an idiot for making those mistakes (and not going back in my last 5 minutes to check my work, where I rather decided to attempt...

Someone should probably reply to this lol. It looks fine imo, exactly the way I did it with the exception of my silly mistakes where, for some reason, my radius of 1-x suddenly became x in my integral for some odd reason...there goes 4 marks for me :(. Basically you note cylindrical shells...
