You can pretty much have one generic essay which covers every (if not, most) questions. Just keep the analysis of the text the same, but keep linking each paragraph back to the question at the beginning and end of the paragraph.

Exactly. But you could pretty much just switch the word 'belonging' around with 'acceptance', although it may not work very well. It's a weird question IMO.

I only write them. It's the only way I can actually remember my notes. Typing for me would pretty much be a waste of time.
