I personally don't do 2 day timetables. They're not conducive to learning at all. By the time I get home I don't wanna do any readings and on top of that, I end up bludging at home for the other 3 days!

TIMETABLES: If you're reading this then its likely that you're a first year student. Timetabling at USYD is somewhat different compared to other universities which may allow you to pick up to 3 years ahead or allow you to choose the classes at whatever specific time that its available. At USYD...

You could but I mean they have a timetables so they can organise people in order to prevent lectures/tutes from overflowing. I mean if its the same lecture but repeated, it doesn't really matter. Most lecturers encourage students to come to the other lectures if they can't make their own.

Timetables drafts ARE OUT. They generally represent the most likely timetables. This is the link https://web.timetable.usyd.edu.au (its currently down) on the 17th is when you actually get to adjust your timetable.

If you don't get it by the time uni starts I would probably go in ask someone about it. AFAIK they should send you an email asking people to go pick their cards up. It should be somewhere between the 2nd last to last week of Feb I recall correctly. Until then, don't stress about it.
