Parents reaction to you not making it?

I'd get the whole, "what happened" look and then my mum would say i didn't study enough and then my grandad woul djust be really sympathetic. My dad will be good with whatever...

    raw mark for band 6?

hope the HSC markers are more generous than my legal teacher..man she marks harshly..she hates giving over 20/25 for an essay and never gives full marks for the longer crime question. She says it could always be better...

Woah. What school do you go to?

    HSC includes preliminary?

it just means that they expect you to know prelim content like conjugating verbs, tenses etc that form the basis of all the HSC course

    hardworking Vs. intelligence

Me being Dux has not in any way dictated to me what i want to do....i didn't choose it and i didn't want it. I don't think i'm particularly intelligent and i don't think i'll get over 92 in the HSC...maybe my school just isn't very good

    cramming.

my reasons lol so bad 1- natural resources in the forest (makes no sense but had to put something) 2- government doing something to the forest (worded it better than that with a bit more info) 3- not enough people to look after the gorillas (omg lol i was desperate) and the multiple...

    cramming.

yeah i really liked it..was easier than my trail but i reckon i'll just scrape 80. listening was easier than usual but the gorilla one i missed some so i just had to kind of guess the third reason and i hate multiple choice- wha was it? reading was so easy and the questions were really broad...

    hardworking Vs. intelligence

for me dux has connotations of hard work, effort and study..hence why i don't think i deserve it- so many people wronlgy assume i study over 20 hours a week which is crazy. i study, sure, but no more than any normal person. in a way i think dux should award someone who is intelligent and...

    hardworking Vs. intelligence

honestly, i think natural intellect really helps. It's true that people who work really hard can go really well in the hsc but i know plenty of people who study 3 hours a night and still barely scrap a 14/20 for english. This is also evidenced by my results. In no way am i lazy, or slack, or not...
