How does 3unit maths help you with 2unit maths?

I did 3 unit up until about a month ago and i found that it helped a lot with 2U. since the majority of 3U topics are just extending 2U questions you face harder questions, making the easier 2U ones simpler to do. already been said but i thought i'd add my opinion ^^

Trial HSC - stressed or not?

i can't think of many people who will keep up the studying that intensely. i plan to take a break and just focus on homework, reading notes when i'm bored for around 2 weeks :)

How to write a conflicting perspectives essay and link your materials?

My core text is wag the dog, i've chosen George Bush's speech at Fort Bragg as one additional material and am looking for another one. I understand that each text has conflicting perspectives within it, my problem is that I have no idea what an essay should look like. If anyone has a basic...

    Wag The Dog Related Texts?

i know! i'm thinking of doing one of president bush's speeches on the war in iraq as a related text. since the perspective of bush and his administration conflicts with others etc... and its politically related. i have an assessment on wag the dog tomorrow but it doesnt need an admat :D

How do you study for physics?

we barely started it before the holidays so no pracs yet, if i do get some notes for them then sure i'll get them for you

Photoelectric effect, Stopping voltage, Kinetic energy max... IMPORTANT!!

say for example the work function of a metal was 10 joules and that planck's constant (h) is equal to 2. the minimum frequency required to reach the work function of 10 would be E=hf 10=2(f) f=5 the threshold frequency required for electron to be emitted is equal to 5 Hertz. this is really...

How do you study for physics?

Hi guys just wondering how everyone else studies for physics. Personally i have my notes written for example on space, i read over my notes then do a bunch of past hsc questions on the topic. i don't really want to tackle an entire past paper at once and would rather focus on a single topic at a...

    How's everyone's trial prep going?

there is actually going to be no time to revise for me at school since we've barely started the 4th topic in bio/physics/english. for english would you say just do 1 essay at a time? or them all at once?

Photoelectric effect, Stopping voltage, Kinetic energy max... IMPORTANT!!

thanks haha I'm not too skilful with the text creating thing :)
  17. J

Photoelectric effect, Stopping voltage, Kinetic energy max... IMPORTANT!!

also the maximum kinetic energy of emitted photoelectrons is equal to E = hf - the work function required to emit electrons from the metal

Which of chemistry, bio, and physics should i chose????

i think more people do phys/chem haha, but there's a lot of people who do chem/bio too

    How's everyone's trial prep going?

i've got all my notes done... and done some HSC questions. physics bio and pd have so much content to remember, maths is simple i'll just do some past papers and english i don't even want to think about. practice essays maybe? I shouldn't have read this thread and seen people doing like 12 hours...
