I did stat171, not much differ content to stat170 just harder. I got friends did stat170 and they bought it and regret lmao. (Ds and HDs) Anyway, I regret buying stat171 as well since I never use it. ( I got HD in that subject)

Didn't do economics in HSC. Got both HD in econ110 and 111. So it doesn't really matter, they start teaching you from the basic. Lots of memorize? not necessary, but you should know the basic assumptions for the models.

After few lectures i just attend the lecture and just watching the powerpoint rather than print it. Only write stuff down if you think it is important. For econ,accounting subjects, it is good to read the textbook once hehe.
