Engg and Law both have high very high work loads. Not exactly sure about the others. Doing a double degree doesn't mean a greater work load. Work load for all of those degrees would be higher than the HSC though (even Arts).

They may not have chosen it. The fact that they are doing a certain course could come down to something like pressure from parents, etc.

Yeah what she said. Thermodynamics is thermodynamics no matter where you study it, it has the same rules at MQ as it does at USYD. Same for all other physics, chemistry and maths (which is what engineering is).

Nope, it's not counted in your WAM. I've heard that it's actually a really useful subject though, and if I had to redo my first year I would sign up for BUSS1900.

When changes to fees are made, they only affect people who enrol AFTER the change in fees. E.g. had uni fees gone up this year, I would not have been affected since I enrolled last year.

Could you write up your marks for each part (or PM if you wish)? Perhaps your tutor added fractions without making sure the denominator was the same for all fractions.

I don't see how you can have all marks in the D range and then get a final mark for the assignment in the HD range. Are you sure you got 88% (i.e. 88/100)? You might have added things incorrectly.
