    What have YOU done so far?

    Haven't done anything so far except bludge and play tekken 6 and MW2 on ps3 the past couple of weeks LOL. Haven't touched my text/work books in ages....

    How many words can you write in an 40 minute essay?

    This is weird, i think for one of my prelim yearly essays for history which i spent roughly 40mins on i only wrote ~650words.(7-10pages) And I'm pretty fast at writing, so how are you guys managing 1000+ words in 40mins?

    At OP: not really, i do all 3 sciences and am going relatively well at physics and very good at chemistry and biology. Although i do find unlike Biology and Chemistry i find Physics isn't really a 'straight forward' science so to say, you can't just learn it by reading it, like maths you have...

    "Study" Periods.

    No one has a free when i have one, so i basically just finish homework do some lite studying outside on a bench..... ....or just stare blindly into space and listen to the birds chirping.:haha: I usually think about stuff a lot during my frees though.

    Yeah i use the new excel study guides for science, they're pretty good, i personally LOVE the structure of it.

    I think theres a higher percentage of people with 11+units in the 95+ range. I'm content with 10units...

    If its your "WEAKEST", then even if you keep it i'd doubt it would back you up even if you stuffed up in another subject tbh. So drop it i guess?

    For 50mins, we start at 8:50-3:10, so he has 100 mins each of morning class for HX1 and MX1 per week.

    Guy at my school has no free periods and has to come at 8am in the morning on tues,wed,thurs,fri.

    Biology hsc: The most effective way to study?

    I find if you write you're own summaries/notes you'll do much better, and put it in you're own words. It really helps when you have to recall large sums of information. Oh and when studying i like concentrating on words i forget in my explanations and the info i lack in completely remembering.

    Lol i guy at my school is doing 5u history,3u math,eng,phy and chem, 14U!!! LOL hes gonna get owned by the workload, everyone knows hes not going to be able to handle it.

    hardly any workload for me lol, i have a lot of spare time even after revising. Just use your time effectively. Btw make sure you don't burn yourself out, only 1 week has elapsed.

    You can pick up subjects like Music, Drama etc etc.
