Vic supervisors do get grade 4, same as DM and SSA/SSO (full 20yo adult wage regardless of age), but the new agreement is confusing...

Supervisors, duty managers and SSA's all get grade 4 currently.

I doubt it. I know you can't call the stores phone number and be transferred onto the PA so I assume it would have a similar restriction. Also, with supervisors pay, we currently get grade 4, does this mean we're getting a pay reduction down to grade 3 wages? That's fucking bullshit. In...

^. It even says it in the upgrade notes.

We aren't supposed to split transactions so they can get multiple fuel vouchers, most people do it anyway though.

How are you on that rate if you're doing HSC this year? Even if you are 18 years old.

Yep 15 at my store too which people usually drag out to 20 without fail

Opening registers and rostering staff when not needed is why self serve machines are taking over! People are fucking stupid. If a staff member is being wasted, they'll be taken away. THAT is why 10 registers aren't open when you only need two. And lol re: close calls. Try stop them at my store...

Just say ok and walk away, or don't say anything, let them have their little know-it-all rant, then walk away.

Might be getting promoted to duty management :) Still early in the pipelines at the moment though

Fucking ridiculous is a light term to say the least. Had a customer being very rude to me/my staff today. A female customer stepped in and punched him in the face on our behalf lol.

Why? Every person who uses the machine can CLEARLY see that there is no weight restrictions. It was the companies choice to do it, I'll post it all I want :)
  14. iMatthew

    The Woolworths Thread

Huh? There is no weight restrictions in the self serve bagging areas?

    The Woolworths Thread

Yep, so for a 7am-10pm store, the shifts will be: AM Open 0800-1600 (as opposed to 0630-1500. Nobody in self serve before 8am) PM Close 1600-2100 (as opposed to 1500-2230. Nobody in self serve after 9pm) Supervisor stays back until 11pm instead of 10.30pm to close self serve alone. Now this...

What? Are you sure it's not just saved in your phone as Woolworths? :s And when it reboots, it doesn't cause issues if you're re-logged in elsewhere. It will void the transaction and then you can just sign it off like normal

    The Woolworths Thread

How can we tell it's them currently? It just says 951. You can force it off through Office. It'll say it can't then another box will come up, click yes and you can then sign on while it's rebooting.

Hmmm ok. At least we won't have to deal with that stupid "Night Service Active" popup on the phone. Might actually be able to see what we're doing.

    The Woolworths Thread

If the phones aren't on night switch, it won't ring the service desk phone. That's probably why. We've had no problems of missing calls when night switch is on.
