Our bakery is an instore bakery AND a proprietey (frozen lines) bakery. They're listed as separate departments for sales purposes. And heh I was kiddding :p chillax!

Mathew: OTHERWISE, go to deli department/bakery and ask for the thermal head cleaning kit. Put the spray in there (1 pump only) onto the black rubber roll in the printer, wipe it with one of the multipurpose cloths til dry. Pyrotek: is that in Single items or multiple items??

I assume he means in the way that's only on the svr menu, which used to be on the regular operator menu as well (i.e. Hit RTC, scan the item, key in a reduced item price, hit enter).

Your CSM didn't know that?! If I do bring anything up, I generally bring it up in a way that makes it more gossip than me looking like a know all ;) (e.g. "Oh so I heard that such and such store/area group/state were introducing X policy... Wonder how that'd work if they put it in place here!")

There is an official process. Your SM/Department manager has to approve, you have to be interviewed by new store, and they have to find hours for you. No guarantee you will be accepted. There is a form available from the cash office or StoreNet EDIT: And if they say one of your shifts needs to...

This sounds really good... But what have sales been like? And apart from blue ribbon/yuppie 'burbs, do they really think that it's going to take off? (I have the mindset of living near/working in Bankstown in Sydney's west.... I can't imagine most if any of our customers embracing this change...

Because life on the streets, living at or below the poverty line, with no access to any form of education really allows them to develop "as normal healthy children," right? Do you live in a bubble? Why don't you go become Miss Universe or something.... Stop poverty, find world peace.

....most managers would love that, especially if the staffmember has that sort of attitude..... xD
