Just a heads up to everyone. PwC has changed the way the traineeship (cadetship) program works. It used to be for either a year 12 student or first year university student but now it's for If any second years are keen, definitely worth applying.

Even though your job isn't to scan files or photocopy files, if you're working on an engagement where you are the most junior person (which you are) it'll be your job to handle that stuff. That being said, it isn't like it'll be a day-to-day task. This only applies when the situation arises.

It's more or less UTS's equivalent of the UNSW Commerce Accounting (Co-op).

Yeah from what I can gauge, even internally there was a lot of uncertainity as to what was going on. Since they just couldn't get it ready in time they pulled the plug on it for that year. I'm definitely glad it's back. It would have been a shame if only one of the Big 4 were offering cadetships.

Being from USyd and being a Cadet I can say that this isn't true. Universities like UNSW and UTS are DEFINITELY more flexible HOWEVER USyd does offer extra 'preferential' support to cadets in terms of which classes you need for your timetable to work. There's someone in the Student Information...
