    Studying for Assessments

Personally I found Cambridge as the most helpful in building a foundation and learning the concepts. However, that is no substitute for past papers (done in exam conditions) and past HSC questions

Maths In Focus vs Fitzpatrick Vs Terry Lee Vs Cambridge

Maths in Focus is cancerous, end of story. You are far better off doing Cambridge and Terry Lee

    Relativity and E=mc^2

I am pretty sure E=mc^2 is more explored in general relativity as opposed to special relativity. That being said, it does explain how as more energy is imputed into an object, its speed increases due to increase kinetic energy, which in turns makes it heavier (which coincides with mass dilation)

hardest physics core based on understanding

If you are weaker at maths, Space will be hard for you. Personally I think Motors and Gen was the hardest for me conceptually but once you understood it fully, it was by far the easiest topic.

    Please Share Advice for 2015ers

Don't do any homework aside maths (unless its useful). Pretty much if its worth nothing or will contribute little to your exam preparation, screw it. Time management is crucial. Know when your assessments are and plan everything backwards. Keep working regardless of crap or good results...

Tom is excellent at explaining difficult concepts, especially in physics. He had been a tremendous help in answering alot of my questions. I will highly recommend him as a tutor as he is very knowledgeable and in-depth with his concepts. If you want to ace sciences, he's the guy to go to.

    Reflection Property

There are honestly like over 5 different ways you can prove the reflection property! However for HSC they guide you on the method they want to use. That being said, they all take generally the same amount of steps/difficulty so if you know one already, just stick to it is what I'd recommend. Not...

    Is Terry Lee right?

Think of it as similar triangles and matching sides would be in 1:2 ratio (midpoints)

Using complex numbers for solving partial fractions

Complex numbers for partial fractions is fully legitimate, it is just that there is no real reason to do it for the HSC level.

    Justification for Past HSC

Personally I reckon that those conditions were given so that the identity you are trying to prove will have real values in that domain and it is probably excessive for a 1 marker, but I'd just address it to be safe nonetheless.

(another) past ruse Q .. hmm

Mreditor is correct. You can have a kite if you are taking Blueblade's conditions
