Extension english is really good in my opinion. It will give you 'essay practice' but it will also improve the way you use language. But, the subjects in your sig look really demanding haha. It is only one extra unit so I'd drop it in yr 12.

Personally, I would go for economics. It has a higher scaling for ATAR, and the subject matter is very interesting. But I'm more of an economics minded person. Do whatever you think you'll do best at/which interests you more.

30 hours a week is absolutely stupid - as well as 30 hours per week of class time - that is absolutely giving up your life so that you can get a high ATAR. 10 - 12 hours per week is really good, including Any necessary reading. It wouldn't be too hard to get a 95+ with that amount of study time...

Your subjects are exactly the same as mine - except instead of business studies I'm doing economics. I'm going for an ATAR of 99+ (hopefully I will get 95+) Also, how did you figure out the Average ATAR marks? that was really helpful - but I need to as in economics in stad of business.
