    Homosexuality in Australia

But christians arent meant to date, they're only allowed one partner. So this is another example of the 'cherry picking' where they choose to disregard the commandments, but the sentence on homosexuality is real

    Homosexuality in Australia

I don't understand how that article is meant to make me lower my ATAR by 10 points. By the way, I'm an Atheist, I don't actually take this stuff literally.

    Homosexuality in Australia

There is no commandment or law in the bible against homosexuality. The only mention in there is by another PERSON, and is just an account of what he thought. Main point: there are way too many people taking the bible too seriously. However many people may argue, not every sentence is "god's...

    Homosexuality in Australia

The bible is just a text which has been edited and edited over the years, by the Romans, and especially Constantine. The Church of England was made so that the King of England could get a divorce. The rules were made by random people, so they should be pretty much disregarded.

    Homosexuality in Australia

There is only seven commandments in the bible. Being gay has nothing to do with any of them. Jesus said: "Love thy neighbour" What if that neighbour happened to be a guy?

Honestly, don't buy it. What I did was in the week before the trials, and the week before the school certificate, I made notes on all of the work I did in workbook, read over them, and I got a 97% in science, and band 6's in the other subjects. Also, just try a practice test, it is all...

    Maths Online?

Hey guys! There is a site I found advertised on TV called www.mathsonline.com.au and I've heard about it at school as well. Do you think it is worth preparing for the subjects on there, or doing it as revision?

how do you achieve band 6's in the school certificate?

I did the computing exam in like 20 minutes and got 96%. Btw read over all of your work books, and then you'll probably get all band sixes. And about the notes KoolKid59, unless you're leaving in year 10 and you want to get a really high mark, it doesn't matter

How do you beat naturally smart people?

Read a lot. Then you'll be naturally smart. But dont read Twilight... :mad1: and no thanks on the penis

    Night Shift & Weekend Jobs?

I work at Coles as nightfilling, and its really easy to get a job there. But if you want lots of hours/money, work at Maccas. They will work your ARSE off! :karate:

Is just 10 units too much of a risk

I see what you mean, but the people who get the 99+ ATAR's with 12 units are very good at the subjects in the first place. If you do really well in ten units, its much better than going O.K. in 12 units
