as far as i'm concerned anything above 110/120 for 4u is a REALLY good mark. stacey law got either 119 or 120 for the hsc, so rest assured you need to be high to state rank. last year's hsc paper was hard, especially question 8.

paper 1 eng: read stimulus texts as quickly as possible, but first read the questions that pertain to them. then read creative/essay questions when i finish. paper 2 eng: read all my qs and determine which one i'd get most fucked by, and immediately think of what i'm going to do about it 3u/4u...
