    textbook list?

Well I didn't get one. It wasn't part of the enrollment 'goody bag' LOL. So I wouldn't worry. Plus you can go to the book shop located on the campus if you want more information.

    3 lectures in a row..

Oh and I should mention, I'm assuming you are a first year (just like me), so you may underestimate how long these lectures really feel. I may suggest that if you can, just get classes close together with at least an hour break. Then you'll know by second semester or even next year, if you...

    3 lectures in a row..

I personally wouldn't do it. I was about to do a timetable similar to yours, so that I could have less days at university. but eventually I considered things like toilet breaks, lunch breaks, socialising, other extra curricular activities and university involvement. I also took into account...

How many days of classes do you have?

What is the Blackboard? Is that an actual blackboard located on Macq campus? Or is it a virtual one you find online or something?

How many days of classes do you have?

Well you go to your semester one timetable, then you click on the drop down list and choose "session 2". You can now pick your units. I suggest you do it early as a few number of people have already done theirs, so you should make sure you get your preferred times!

How many days of classes do you have?

I picked the most earliest time slot for my comm/law degree. But because the previous day all the commerce students did their timetables, I was at a disadvantaged because they got to pick tutes a day earlier --"

How many days of classes do you have?

What's up guys! Well yeah, I have 4 days of uni in semester 1, but I have 3 days of uni in semester 2. I could have reduced this to only 2, but I don't want to tire myself out especially in first semester, as I'm not used to commuting on public transport. Plus I have extra curricular...

ACST101 and STAT170 not advisable together?

thanks so much for the input! I made my timetable already. Initially it had ACST101 and STAT170 in one semester. But I changed it so STAT170 is in sem 1 and ACST101 is in sem2. So they're both in different semesters just not vice versa. I guess its good enough. I mean I can cope alright in...

What do you GET/ACHIEVE from going into overseas exchange?

Oh yeah! That's what I mean, I wouldn't do undergrad overseas, but i am considering prostgrad like LLM for Laws in a foreign school. I don't think its really worth completing the majority of my undergraduate overseas. But yes, thanks for that advice!

ACST101 and STAT170 not advisable together?

I found this on Macq website: Microeconomic Principles - ECON111 This unit aims to provide an introduction to the main ideas and concepts involved in modern economics; and attempts to provide students with an understanding of how the economy works, what type of problems economists attempt to...

ACST101 and STAT170 not advisable together?

Hey thanks for your input! I feel a little more confidence that I can possibly survive these subjects with obviously- hard work. But out of curiousity, how is ECON111 like? Does it involve more essay/writing compared to ACST? What are the topics studied? If you done HSC Economics, is this...

ACST101 and STAT170 not advisable together?

Hey! I'm a first year and don't have much information to help you, but from what I heard, I think ACST101 is more mathematics oriented as opposed to ECON111. I think Economics involves essays/more writing? (I think- please someone correct me if I'm wrong). So, I would assume you will not be too...

ACST101 and STAT170 not advisable together?

Hey thanks for your input! Yeah I most likely would have not coped with all those subjects in one semester. But out of curiousity why was ECON111 hard for you? I just want to be prepared for this course. Generally if you remember, what were the topics in this course and what did you have to do...

ACST101 and STAT170 not advisable together?

So out of curiousity (if its okay), how did you find that timetable, was it good for you and did it reflect in your grades somehow? Oh and I'm doing ACCG100 (accounting A). this must be alright with ACST right?
  17. R

ACST101 and STAT170 not advisable together?

Hey what's your view about ECON111 and STAT170 in semester 1 and ACST101 in semester 2? ok for not a math oriented student?

    On Campus Enrolment..

You may get yours cause I think tomorrow is the first day people with your courses are going to enrol. BUT with me, since my course is Comm/Laws, those who had straight Comm enrolled in their times. Leaving us with combined degrees with Comm with the remainder of the times. And this was sad...

    On Campus Enrolment..

Hey! I got it from the hub, you have to go downstairs, there should be like a booth with a bunch of mentors straight forward. You can't miss this, as there is usually a line. Btw I don't know the difference between the Atrium and Hub, but its close to the hub!

ACST101 and STAT170 not advisable together?

Thanks for that insightful input! Yeah its good now knowing that there's always ways around things especially if you're not that experienced in a certain subject or area. I'm surely going to take that as initiative to finish my university studies. thanks! Now I feel more welcoming to the maths...
