Guys update: for the graph, i got a stationairy point as a point of inflextion is this possible? y = (x-4)(x+2)^2 the graph looks retarded can someone graph it showing working as to how they got their answer. Please include points of inflection.

best job: buy bulk sell on ebay. Create an online store. I did this last year for school holidays and made $1000. Basically i bought bulk opi nail polishes and sold them on ebay for about $15 each.

Not sure if the back of the book is wrong. Sketch y=6-2x-x^2 showing the stationary point. What i keep getting wrong is the x intercepts on the graph. I used quadratic formule, tried factorising but nothing works.

yes i understand, but the graph it not necessary and over complicates it. What i simply do is get the two points in this case x=-5, and -3. And pick a point in between. I sub this point into the derived equation and if it satisfies then i know the answer. What i don't get is why do we derive the...

p.s your answer is wrong. X>-3, and x<-5. And when i graphed it it did not help.
