A= h/2(P1+P2) the heigh was the perpendicular distance from B to AC (or whatever) found in an earlier part P1 and P2 are the two parallel sides....you know the co-ordinates of two of the top two points...so use the distance formula to find the length for the bottom parallel line....you find...

Good question. I don't know the answer, but I reckon they should. It's not your fault if you're too smart and they didn't give you enough room to reflect your wisdom in words on paper.

I am. I, like many other people (I'm assuming) have chosen to focus on SDD and given up Extension. And the fact these are my worst two subjects doesn't help. (I'm expecting to fail Extension and hoping to scrape into a Band 5 for SDD.)

Having gone through my paper just now...I reckon I'll get 69/100. My question is: What do people reckon that mark would scale to? I'm curious because so much of my ATAR depends on Maths...unfortunately. It is (well, was) one of my stronger subjects. :cry: Thank you.

-2 at the end.... Because the gradient=5 when x=2... and when x=2, y=0 so integrate f'(x) to get f(x).....sub in 0 and 2...to get C...and C=-2 At least that's what I did....correct me if I'm wrong
