    99.95 ATAR aim

I had this goal (99.95 ATAR) as well, and I tried to make a study timetable now. But like most others, it didn't work out. Looking back now, not having achieved my goal, I completely not regret following it. Make slightly easier realistic goals (even if they seem not much), and do everything you...

    2015 Syllabus Changes

Woops, I meant selling my textbooks, not the syllabuses. So nothing's changing in 2015 (except for English), so I should keep my textbooks for my brother?

    2015 Syllabus Changes

Are the HSC and preliminary syllabuses changing in 2015 for the national curriculum, or is this incorrect? I'm wondering whether I should sell my textbooks.

HELP: Chadwick's discovery of the neutron

So this is my understanding of the experiment: using a polonium source, he bombarded alpha particles into beryllium, which knocked off the unknown particles (neutrons), which knocked off protons from a paraffin block which could be detected. Then he used the laws of conservation of momentum and...

Preparing for a specified speech (Mod B)

Thanks heaps for that, although I'm scared that any links to Atwood (other than from Suu Kyi) would be superficial. What do you think? Also, I've asked a lot of my friends and tutor, and they said you should start with the specified speech. Opinions?

Preparing for a specified speech (Mod B)

Is there anyone else thinking of preparing 2 essays: one for Aus. speeches (Pearson, Keating, Bandler) and one for the others (Atwood, Sadat, Suu Kyi)? What kind of links can I draw between Atwood and Sadat?

Preparing for a specified speech (Mod B)

How do you link the other speeches to Atwood?!?!?

Preparing for a specified speech (Mod B)

But would the specified text be like the main focus of the essay (hence using it first), or does it simply have to be used (i.e. using it last to draw links to the other 2 speeches)? Also how would you go about linking speeches like Deane or Keating to Sadat and Suu Kyi?

    Speeches Predictions?

I'm hoping Sadat or Atwood. What do you guys think the chances of it being Keating, Deane or Pearson?
  14. S

Preparing for a specified speech (Mod B)

How are you preparing in the case that they specify a speech? Also, is it okay to put the specified speech last, or do you have to put it first?

    Belonging Essay Predictions!

Identity is in like every school trial. Is it likely that it would be similar to the CSSA trial (belonging as choice), or even perhaps about the barriers that prevent belonging?

Is it possible to study for a maths exam in one day?

Just make sure you know all the formulas, do a couple of past papers, and you should be okay. If you're feeling good on the day, you'll be fine.

    How do you write faster?

Okay, so like really knowing what you're going to write would stop you from hesitating/stopping? How about physically writing faster?
